II. Etiquette
Chatspeak (u r 2 kewl!!!) is not allowed anywhere on the site. This includes message board posts, feedback, stories, and chat rooms. (Exceptions can be made for stories on a case-by-case basis. Contact an admin if you have such a story.)

Proper use of the shift key is highly encouraged everywhere on the site.

The role-playing chat room and the Inquiring Minds game have additional rules.

III. Suspendable Actions
Reasons, aside from being underage, your account can be suspended:

1. Abusing the 48-hour free trial system.
2. Use of chatspeak after being warned.
3. Trolling and/or excessive and unnecessary drama.
4. Sock puppet accounts. (It's all right to create an account to post your writing from and another account to do all your feedbacking, message board posting, etc., from. What's not allowed is creating accounts to feedback your own stories, to play headgames with other memberships, or to have conversations with yourself on the message board, etc.)
5. Harassment of other members.
6. Plagiarism. (This includes posting Rockfic.com stories that you didn't write to other sites or sending them via email.)

You will receive no refund of any subscription fees paid if your account is suspended for any of the above.

IV. Posting Stories
Rockfic.com has minimum standards that all submitted stories must meet. New members are on probation; in other words, the first stories they post will be reviewed by an administrator before being released to the site. These stories may be rejected completely, or the author may be asked to make some changes before a story will be released to the site. Once the author has demonstrated understanding of the minimum standards, the author will be taken off probation; any new posted stories will immediately be released to the site.

IV. Posting of Messages as Stories
The story archive is for stories. Posts to the story archive that are nothing but messages to your fans will be deleted as soon as they are found. Use the message board if you have an announcement to make.
