Wow, this story keeps getting scarier! Now only James is alive! I'm interested to find out how the story will end, or how it will move on from here!

CAN YOI PLEASE STOP KILLING MY BABIES? PLEASE? THIS HURTS. Anyway, this story is great, but it makes me sad. I probably should stop reading it, but knowing me, I won't.

KrikkyKrikky's response: THAT'S THE POINT OF THE STORY, MATE. but yes thank you

Jesus! What an awful way fr Lars to go! I am really beginning to like your plot though. I am wondering what will happen after they all die!

KrikkyKrikky's response: to be perfectly honest here I don't even know what I'm gonna do when they all die but thank you for liking my plot m8

NO! Not Kirk! This story hit hard because it conveyed some feelings that might have been felt by Kirk in his darkest hour. The hallucinogens brought a horror movie like effect to the story, and made it kind of scary! This was a really good, sad, horrifying story!

KrikkyKrikky's response: Not sure how you're gonna feel later on, but there's more coming. I really hope you're ready m8.

GREAT!! —jakalama, for SlavesAndBulldozers's A Carefree Beachgoer
Nonsense first: Had to re-read the first section, because I forgot Dave is not David, and my first read through just left me wondering why Ellefson was suddenly so philosophical. Second tie around I was in proper "Batman in a darkened cathedral" mood, and it made much more sense. It was also more dour (and pessimistic) than most of the movie Batmans--if not all of them.

Lars's scene made me both grin (Lars as the motor mouth, all bravado and shit) (he reminded me of the Dr Chilton character in the Hannibal series) and feel uncomfortable, especially at the suggestions of surgical manipulation. I figured the threat would be death... but disfigurement is one of my personal fears, so (despite the fact that he would survive) it feels much, much worse for me.

Got some 1984 vibes from this (the girlfriend who supposedly spoke first) (the girlfriend who is presented as someone who will save her own skin with no second thoughts) (scary stuff, really) (I'd love to think I'd do the honourable thing if I were Lars) (I probably wouldn't), and I got a kick out of that. This might as well be your Halloween Challenge, to be honest. It's already nerve-wracking. —Highway Joe, for speakingez's All Nightmare Long
Okay now that escalated quickly. Poor Bruce he just wants to be close to Steve. Steve you really, really need to control your temper 😒 —Autumn Moon, for NeennE's Still
