"Burning Heart", by Survivor. My hallmate and I have an Organic Chem final this afternoon, and we're pumping ourselves up out on the patio of the dining hall (since we can't make noise in the dorm, and we're stir-crazy from studying all night).
We did "Eye of the Tiger" earlier, but Survivor is so much more than that song. They're more than "Burning Heart" too, all things considered... but if we're gonna have motivational soundtrack music, we're going for the underrated one that hasn't lost power from how many times we've heard it.
(Funny how all my motivation songs have had to do with fire this exam week. I had "Keep The Fire Burning" by REO running in my head all through the two tests I had on Friday... I'm hoping for Dokken or Blue Oyster Cult during my anatomy final tomorrow!)
\"Rock and Roll... It\'s great!\" ~John Lodge, The Moody Blues
\"Calls, interruptions, knocks at the door. ...It\'s very important to the creative process, because if it wasn\'t there, it\'d be too easy!\" ~Jeff Pilson, Dokken and Foreigner
\"You have to make mistakes to know where they are.\" ~ Warren DeMartini, Ratt
\"You can play with fire, but you\'re gonna get BURNED!\" ~my little cousin
