When an author who hasn't been validated submits a story or chapter that doesn't meet the minimum submission requirements
, they may or may not
receive a list of corrections that would bring the story/chapter up to standards.
This decision will be made on a case-by-case basis, based on my now-lengthy experience with authors who submit badly formatted, badly punctuated stories and then disappear after I've taken the time to explain (often line by line) what needs to be corrected to make it publishable.
If you submit a story that's just a little off the posted minimum requirements, I will give you a head's up about what changes would make it ready for the site.
If you submit a story that doesn't even try to meet our minimum formatting and punctuation standards, you won't hear anything. Consider reviewing the minimum submission requirements
and looking at highly reviewed stories on the site to see how your story is supposed to look
, formatting and punctuation-wise. (Especially dialog punctuation!!!!! Dear god why is this so difficult?) Once you figure your shit out, delete the story/chapter and resubmit a new one to get back into the validation queue.
--> If you submit a story that you believe does meet the requirements but the story doesn't go live on the site within 48 hours and you don't hear from me, please PM me and bring it to my attention.
