Rockfic.com is more than a story archive. A lot of fun happens on our message boards or in our IRC chat rooms as well.

Access to both the message boards and the chatrooms is always free, so even after your 48-hour free trial is up, you can still hang out at Rockfic.com.

Our message boards are packed with photographs and video links featuring your favorite rock bands. Members also collect interviews, articles, news and tour dates on the message board, making it a great place to stay up-to-date on your bands or arrange to hook up with other Rockfickers at a concert or festival.

Rockfic.com is at least as much about the writing as it is about our favorite bands, and our message boards reflect that. Members ask and answer both writing and research questions. You can find a beta or editor for your stories--or offer to beta or edit for others. Writing challenges and exercises are posted every month--and don't miss Biffno, our "band fiction novella writing month" every March.

Scheduled chats take place the first Saturday and third Sunday of every month. You can usually count on meeting both regular and newer members at any of these. Impromtu chats can be called by any user at anytime--keep an eye on or subscribe to the "Chat Calls" thread on the message board.
