Biffno
Every year since 2007, madness1 has descended on Rockfic in the late winter.
Bandfic writers new and old are overtaken by Biffno fever. Join us this year in the craziness of writing a 25,000-word (or longer!) story in 31 days. (That's just over 806 words a day.)
You'll find discussion in the Biffno forum throughout February as the anticipation builds, and then on March 1st, we're off! Led by the wonderful team of heavvymetalqueen and rdyfrde (who made a great success of it last year over on LiveJournal), Biffno writers will find inspiration, commiseration and morale boosting right up to the dogged end.

To win at Biffno:
- Work on a brand new story in the month of March—no finishing up on older stories. (Save those for Re-Biffno in September!)
- The story must contain a band or musician (real or imagined).
- The story must be 25,000 words or more by the end of the month.
- The story does not need to be finished when you get to 25,000 words--nor when you get to the end of March. The goal is just to get to that number, you're welcome to write more than that.
- The story does not need to be edited either. This is just a rough draft of a story that you're trying to complete.
